Although the mommy bloggers, recipe blogs, and journalists had something right. Blogs are a powerhouse for your website. But you don’t have to fall in one of those categories for blogs to grow your business. Blogs are one of the strongest ways to get found online, make your content go further, and increase your credibility. Whether your blog is collecting digital dust or is nonexistent, it’s time to fire up the keyboard.

For too long, blogs have been seen as the uncool sibling to social media. It’s time to change that.

Social media has always been the fun, loud sibling that gets all the accolades and attention, but it’s short-lived. Meanwhile, blogs have always been the dependable eldest daughter, consistently showing up, getting found, and doing the heavy lifting. Around here, we’re making blogs cool again.

With the constant evolution of AI, blogs are one of the strongest ways to get found through AI search. But not just any blogs, human-written blogs are the ones getting found online over the commodity, AI-written blogs. This is where your expertise gets a chance to shine, and I help you create a blog that people crave to read.

I’m your go-to blog expert, Natty!

Meet Your Blog Writer & Strategist for Creative Business Owners

Here are a few things you should know about me before we keep going. You can usually find me daydreaming of a crisp fall day when temps drop below 60 degrees, with pumpkin flavored coffee or a crisp coke in hand while writing blogs in my favorite coffee shop.

I live in the dreamest hallmark-esq town in North Georgia where I feel like Rory Gilmore everyday (and I might just have Gilmore Girls on in the background right now).

I’m a big alliteration girl when I write. It’s like music to my ears!

If I didn’t write words for a living, I would be some sort of party or event planner. Creating balloon arches is my hobby, birthdays are a big deal in my house, and my people can always count on me to make the itinerary.

I quote Mean Girls like it’s my job (but don’t worry, I’m very much not a mean girl) and know all the lyrics to The Mathlete Rap.

Do we have anything in common? Let’s work together!

I’m not a normal blog writer, I’m a cool blog writer

I told you I’m always quoting Mean Girls, can’t help myself! But in all reality, let’s back it up a little so you know why I’m qualified to write blogs, because my path to blog writing isn’t your typical story.

I don’t have a marketing or journalism degree. I was actually studying child psychology when I had this writing epiphany. And I wasn't exactly the AP English kid either. In fact, I'd been writing copy for six months before I even knew "copywriter" was a real job title.

My path started the way most good things do. My sister needed help. She owned a business, needed a content writer, and I needed something to do. What started as a favor turned into blog posts, then Instagram captions, then Etsy listings. Little did I know I had accidentally stumbled into a career.

(Looking back, being on the yearbook committee at 16 probably should have been a hint.)

A few weeks before college graduation, I made a decision that surprised everyone, including me. I walked away from my child psychology degree and took a full-time writing job at a law firm. Not exactly glamorous, but writing for a law firm will sharpen you fast.

When your words have to hold up to legal standards and earn the trust of people with real stakes on the line, you learn quickly what good writing actually requires.

The people weren't exactly warm (as a sensitive Susie, I need niceness, okay?) but that firm gave me something I couldn't have gotten in a classroom: proof that I could write at a professional level before I ever had a credential to show for it.

From there, I went on to write the full content strategy for a multi-six-figure online business. Launch sequences, sales pages, emails, the works. I got a front row seat to how content actually moves a business forward, not just fills a feed.

And somewhere in all of that, I realized the content I loved most, the content that kept working long after it was written, that built trust, that brought in the right people, was always the blog.

So I narrowed in. I let everything else go and became really, really good at one thing.

Blog writing and content strategy that sounds and feels like you is my super power

I’ve gotten really good at sounding like you. Like so much so that you read the draft I wrote and wonder if you somehow wrote it in your sleep. Having a blog writer do the writing for you keeps your soul intact. Google doesn’t like commodity-written blogs, aka AI-written, because it wants to hear from experts with unique points of view.

But I also know you’ve got enough on your plate, so carving out time to write blog posts can feel overwhelming. That’s where I come in! I learn your voice and expertise and take your knowledge to create blogs that your audience can’t wait to read.

NATTY’S MISSION

“To help business owners be more present and enjoy their life and work WITHOUT being handcuffed to social media by creating content that’s sustainable for the short run AND has longevity for the long run.”

So why does your business need a blog?

I’m so glad you asked! No matter where you’re at in your business, you need to be seen as the expert. You need to build know, like, and trust for people to continue buying from you. And you can’t build equity in a rented property (aka social media). If you want to build real business equity, you need a blog that positions you as the go-to expert in your space and compounds over time. Blogs are the secret weapon for your business that just keeps giving.

According to HubSpot, businesses with blogs see an average of 55% more website visitors. Would you rather have a social media post that kind of does well but gets lost in the noise within 48 hours or a blog that positions you with authority and keeps getting found for years?

I think we both know the answer! If you’re ready for that type of power in your business, let’s get started!
